Bonjour,
j'ai eu connaissance de votre site en écoutant la radio belge hier après-midi (12.05.06). Trés bonne émission.
Je voudrai dire que le gout des pates c'est avant tout une histoire d'habitude, d'éducation, aucun restaurant étoilé au monde ne fera des pates à la main aussi bonnes que celles que je mangeais enfant chez moi.
Les pates c'est avant tout une affaire d'italiens.

Ca se discute. Certes les pâtes sont divines en Italie. Mais avec la bonne recette, les bons ingrédients (faire ses propres pâtes fraîches par exemple, acheter des produits frais ...), le résultat sera au rendez-vous.

Récemment dans un resto très fréquenté du sud de la région de Bruxelles capitale...Des pâtes "superposées". Une bête assiette avec des pâtes posées dedans, de l'huile d'olive, puis du basilic et du parmesan posés dessus...Le chef n'a rien compris à l'importance de faire s'imprégner les ingrédients d'autant plus que la recette est simple... Du grand n'importe quoi, mais peut être moins pire que l'assiette d'un des mes commensaux, où les cannelloni à la ricotta étaient nappés d'une couette de sauce curry...Cela dit, qu'ils ne touchent surtout à rien, c'était "blindé massacre" comme on dit à Bruxelles...

Indeed Brits cannot cook pasta, the worst pasta I got in my whole live was english. I was working in Liverpool for a few weeks.
The pasta were overcooked and sticky. The tomato sauce was as sweet as for the red beans.
The second worst is Belgian. I went in a restaurant in Dinant, I asked for macaroni with cheese and ham and received penne with a cheesy tomato sauce. I'll try to get the name of the restaurant, because I remember there were 3 Americans that were not really enthusiastic either. A good tourist pit-fall.

Pour relancer le débat sur ce livre d'or, je propose aux visiteurs d'écrire l'histoire de leur plus mauvaise expérience de plat de pâtes.
Ma première (qd j'avais 8 ans) : en Ecosse dans un fast-food au bord d'un locht. J'avais commander des macaronis au gratin. Quelle ne fut pas ma déception quand l'assiette fut déposée devant moi : un amas gluant où les pâtes fusionnaient. J'ai pu en attrapé deux ou trois....c'était suffisant!

Bonjour. Je ne comprends pas très bien un point dans votre site. Vous avez un onglet "origine des pâtes en Europe". Mais pourquoi vous n'allez pas un peu plus loin que le bout de votre nez en présentant une rubrique "origine des pâtes dans le monde". Je crois que la question pertinente est à ce niveau et la littérature scientifique n'est pas pauvre à ce sujet...
